French Senators Visit Moldova

A delegation from the France-Moldova Friendship Parliamentary Group of the French Senate will visit Chișinău on June 10–12, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

During their stay, the French senators will meet with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, members of Moldova’s Friendship Group with France, and representatives from the Action and Solidarity Party and the Communist and Socialist Bloc.

The agenda includes meetings with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, and Labor Minister Alexei Buzu. The delegation will also engage with NGOs, visit the village of Peresecina and the Orhei District Hospital, and observe local French-language education initiatives.

Talks will focus on strengthening Moldovan-French cooperation, sharing France’s EU integration experience, and exploring best practices Moldova could adopt.
