Greece Launches Home Medicine Delivery

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the launch of a new home delivery service for medicines, set to begin on June 16. Speaking at the presentation of the EOPYY program, he called it a “moving day,” marking a step forward in ensuring dignity and care for all citizens. The service will be carried out in collaboration with a certified distribution company, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

Mitsotakis thanked patient associations for their input and pledged continued reforms to strengthen the National Health System (NHS).

In a related initiative, the prime minister and Minister of Labour and Social Security Niki Kerameus visited the newly operational Disability Certification Center (KEPA) in Galatsi. Mitsotakis praised its modern infrastructure and accessibility, emphasizing improvements in the disability certification process and announcing the expansion of the list of irreversible disabilities.
