Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet with the rectors of Greece’s universities at 12:30 today at the Maximos Mansion, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

In the past six years, over 470 arrests have been made and dozens of university building occupations ended through police operations. Since 2019, 26 occupied areas in Attica alone have been cleared, including 10 spaces turned over to rectors in 2024. In Thessaloniki, 11 occupations have ended, notably the “Biology Dept Hangout,” which was occupied for over 30 years and now houses the Aristotle University’s School of Science library.
