Highlighting the long-standing ties between Greece and Syria, Gerapetritis recalled his February visit to Damascus and reaffirmed Greece’s commitment to Syria’s reconstruction and cultural diversity. He outlined three key priorities: an inclusive political transition, accountability and transitional justice, and addressing Syria’s economic and humanitarian crisis.
