EU Commissioner Visits Moldova for Europe Day

European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos will visit Moldova from May 8 to 12, 2025, coinciding with Europe Day. The visit highlights the EU’s continued support for Moldova’s European integration. Kos will be joined by MEPs Siegfried Mureșan and Daniel Barna, along with other EU officials, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The agenda includes high-level meetings, public events, and visits to several regions. On May 9, Kos will attend Victory Day commemorations in Chișinău and sign the Growth Plan for Moldova. She will also engage with civil society at a Europe Day concert and discussions in the capital.

The commissioner will visit Ungheni to inaugurate the European Village and meet local entrepreneurs. Over the following days, she will tour multiple regions, including Edineț, Bălți, and Cahul, to meet youth, women leaders, and inaugurate EU-funded projects.

Kos last visited Moldova in February 2025.
