Moldova’s MAE Participates in OSCE Winter Session on Electoral Integrity

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) of Moldova took part in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's winter session in Vienna, focusing on the impact of new technologies and social networks on electoral processes, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Discussions highlighted concerns about algorithmic news filtering, deepfakes, and AI-manipulated content in online election campaigns. Parliamentarians stressed the need for OSCE member states to adapt regulations to safeguard electoral integrity while protecting fundamental rights.

Moldova has been an OSCE member since 1992 and continues to receive support, particularly in the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict. The OSCE provides expertise through its mission in Moldova and other subdivisions.
