During the visit, he observed a successful evacuation drill and discussed emergency response plans with hospital administration and medical staff.
“We are committed to ensuring hospitals can effectively respond to such challenges,” Themistocleous stated, highlighting recent reinforcements, including additional doctors, rescuers, and six specialized EKAV units on standby for earthquake response.
