The signing of the agreement with the US for the acquisition of the F-35 aircraft represents "another decisive step" taken by Romania towards a modern, efficient national defence, well connected to our international partners, prime minister Marcel Ciolacu stated on Thursday, CE Report quotes Agerpres

He participated, at the Victoria Palace, in the signing ceremony of the Protocol regarding the launch of the Romanian Air Force's transition programme to the 5th generation aircraft, the F-35.
