Moldovan president says digitalization implies huge benefits, but also risks for children

President Maia Sandu today participated in the opening of the International Forum Children’s Safety Online. The participants in the event discussed children’s security on the Internet, the presidential press service has reported. CE Report quoting Moldpres

„The digitalization implies huge benefits, but also entails high risks, especially for small children. Children use the Internet and we cannot stop them, but we, the adults, the entire society, must help them understand that there can also be dangers in the online environment. Now, we can report the contents with risk of sexual abuse on the platform, www.siguronline.md, so that they are removed from the online space,’’ Maia Sandu said.
