North Macedonia, France Discuss Regional Stability and Cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met in Paris with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, expressing satisfaction from the continued development of bilateral relations and commitment for further enhancement of political and economic cooperation, CE Report quotes MIA.

Mucunski and Barrot focused on promoting the partnerships between the countries' governments and business communities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.

Minister Mucunski thanked France for its swift and principled support following the Kochani tragedy, as well the French Government's consistent and strong support to North Macedonia's European integration.

Minister Barrot reaffirmed France's position for continued vocal support for European Union enlargement and its active contribution to the realization of the strategic goal - North Macedonia's full-fledged EU membership.

During the visit to Paris, FM Mucunski also met with Benjamin Haddad, Minister Delegate for Europe, discussing North Macedonia's progress on the EU path, current political developments in the region, as well as the significance of the country's contribution to regional stability and cooperation, reads the press release.
