North Macedonia’s PM Applauds New Pontiff’s Global Vision

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski has congratulated Thursday the election of new Pontiff of the Roman-Catholic Church, Pope Leo XIV, CE Report quotes MIA.

"The election of the first pontiff from the United States is a historic event for the Roman-Catholic Church and followers across the globe. This election is a symbol of the new time of openness, spirituality and universal affiliation, as well as continuation of the tradition of peace, solidarity and care for all people," PM Mickoski wrote in a Facebook post.

He extends his congratulations to all Catholic followers and members of the Macedonian Catholic community.

"Let Pope Leo XIV be guided by the wisdom of his predecessors, the voice of the disenfranchised and the hope of new generations. In a time of global challenges, his message for peace, dialogue and human dignity is even more important," says Mickoski.
