Moldova advances EU accession talks with business sector
The latest progress in the negotiation process for accession to the European Union, priority reforms, investments, and the development of the national economy were the main topics discussed by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration of Moldova Cristina Gherasimov with members of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
“We continue to maintain constant dialogue with the business community to consult and jointly analyze the latest developments on Moldova’s European agenda,” Cristina Gherasimov said.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that participants discussed how the business environment can be involved in preparing the country for EU accession and how competitiveness can be strengthened so that Moldovan entrepreneurs can fully benefit from the opportunities offered by the single market of 450 million citizens.
At the same time, Cristina Gherasimov emphasized the need for constructive dialogue with business representatives, focused on identifying solutions and protecting the interests of the private sector in the accession negotiation process.
