Fire breaks out at Kosovo's Comodita home factory

Kosovo's Comodita Home has informed the public that earlier this afternoon, part of its factory in Gjakovë was affected by a fire.

Fortunately, the workers were evacuated in time and no injuries have been reported, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Police teams and firefighting units immediately arrived at the scene in an effort to contain and localize the fire.

At this stage, the cause of the fire has not yet been identified, and the value of the material damage cannot be estimated.

Comodita Home would like to thank for the rapid response the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of the Kosovo Security Force, the Mayor of Gjakovë, the Director of the Agency for Emergency Management, firefighting units from Prizren, Juniku, Deçani and Rahoveci, as well as members of KFOR and the Kosovo Security Force for their readiness to intervene.
