Catherine Zeta-Jones opens up about life with Michael Douglas

Catherine Zeta-Jones, in an interview with PEOPLE magazine, shared details about her wonderful life in New York with her husband, Michael Douglas.

“I’ve been living on the East Coast with Michael for many years, and it’s interesting to consider whether this has negatively affected my career,” said the Oscar-, BAFTA-, and Tony-winning actress,

She added, “I can’t know for sure, because I was never in Los Angeles for networking and publicity.”

Speaking from her home—40 minutes from the city center—Zeta-Jones explained that her family’s social life is only minimally connected to the entertainment industry, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

“In fact, I spend more time with New York entrepreneurs, Wall Street executives, and people from the arts,” she noted.

“Our friends and the people we meet are different from those I would socialize with if I were in Los Angeles. And I don’t say this to put L.A. or the people who live there down—it’s just that here in the city, I move in different circles,” she explained.
