Kiefer Sutherland arrested in Los Angeles
Kiefer Sutherland, the star of the television series 24, was arrested in Los Angeles for assaulting a private taxi driver.
This was reported by the police of the Californian city, CE Report quotes ANSA.
The Canadian-British actor was detained during the night between Sunday and Monday, shortly after midnight. Officers “responded to a radio call regarding an assault involving a private taxi driver” on one of Los Angeles’ major avenues.
As reported by CE Report, police later determined that Sutherland “had physically assaulted the driver and had made criminal threats against him.” The actor was released a few hours later after posting bail of $50,000. He is due to appear in court on February 2.
