Vienna to honor Mozart, Burgtheater with landmark jubilees
The Austrian capital, Vienna, which has for centuries been regarded as one of Europe’s most important cultural centers, will this year be marked by numerous anniversaries.
These include the 270th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, CE Report quotes STA.
Another major milestone is the 250th anniversary of the national theater Burgtheater, which is organizing guided backstage tours featuring Gustav Klimt’s ceiling paintings.
