Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have confirmed that staff cuts are planned at their non-governmental organization, Archewell Philanthropies, amid its restructuring.
Meghan and Harry responded to reports from the Daily Mail, stating that the job cuts at the organization, formerly known as Archewell Foundation, are happening “because it will cease to operate.”
“A shift toward a financially sustainable operational model means that some staff layoffs are inevitable, particularly in lower-level administrative positions,” their spokesperson told People.
