Nobel Prize laureate faces arrest risk
This year’s Nobel Prizes will be awarded today in Oslo and Stockholm.
The most prestigious one, the Peace Prize, is expected to be received in Oslo by Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado for her efforts to promote democracy in Venezuela, CE Report quotes STA.
It is not clear whether Machado will attend the ceremony, as she faces possible arrest upon returning to her homeland, which is ruled with an iron hand by Nicolás Maduro.
