All four thieves who carried out the sensational heist at the Louvre on October 19 are now in the hands of justice.

There is still no trace, however, of the French crown jewels, valued at 88 million euros, CE Report quotes ANSA.

According to Le Parisien, the fourth man—believed to be one of the two who waited on scooters for the other members of the gang—was taken into custody by investigators from the anti-gang unit of the Paris Police Prefecture’s Judicial Police Directorate.

He is accused of “organized robbery” and “criminal association.” The individual is already known to the police and is believed to be connected to the other three men already arrested, all originally from or residing in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis).

In addition to the fourth member of the gang, three more people were arrested in Mayenne, believed to be part of his circle.
