Katie Holmes Gets Set Visit from Daughter Suri Cruise
Katie Holmes received a special visit from her daughter Suri Cruise on the set of her upcoming film “Happy Hours.”
The mother-daughter duo was photographed walking and chatting in New York City this week, with Holmes holding what appeared to be a script in her hand, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
Holmes seemed to be in character, wearing a blue-patterned swimsuit, jeans, and sneakers, with her hair styled in a very messy look.
Meanwhile, Suri, 19, opted for a chic yet casual outfit featuring pants with a brown belt, red sneakers, and a brown leather shoulder bag, without any jewelry or makeup.
Holmes, 46, was also spotted filming alongside her Dawson’s Creek co-star Joshua Jackson. Their chemistry was still visible, with Holmes seen flashing a big smile on set.
In the original teen drama, their characters Joey Potter and Pacey Witter ended up together at the end of the series in 2003. Holmes and Jackson also dated in real life in 1998, though the relationship ended a year later.
Jackson, 47, said earlier this year that he and Holmes are still “very close friends,” despite not staying in frequent contact.
As for Suri, Holmes’ only child—who is estranged from her father Tom Cruise—she is currently enjoying summer break from college and will soon return to her university studies in Pittsburgh.
