Sofia Puppeteers Tour Japan
The Sofia Puppet Theatre is touring Japan in collaboration with the local PUK Puppet Theatre and with support from the Bulgarian Embassy in Tokyo, CE Report quotes BTA
The troupe will perform The Story of a Seagull and the Gang of Tomcats, a bilingual play directed by Katya Petrova, with 33 shows scheduled across 13 cities including Tokyo, Hiroshima, Yokohama, Okayama, and Fukuoka.
Japanese audiences will also see the film A Lesson in Flying, which highlights the cultural exchange and creative collaboration between Bulgarian and Japanese artists during the production of the play.
