Art and fashion come together through a collaboration between Milanese artisanal wallpaper studio Fabscarte and Chinese womenswear brand Deepmoss, known for its natural aesthetic, giving birth to the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, CE Report quotes ANSA.

It’s a sensory journey of natural synesthesia and poetic romanticism, where Fabscarte’s evocative visuals transform into an ethereal prêt-à-porter collection.

Starting with the wallpaper design “Rose Scented Mirage,” created in collaboration with photographer and artist Martyn Thompson, Fabscarte reinterpreted the ancient “velatura” technique. The result is a pattern evoking the ambiance of a misty rose garden, with delicate textures and watercolor shades blending dream and reality. These artistic elements were reimagined by Deepmoss into delicate prints for its signature fabrics, giving life to the “Rose Scented Mirage” fashion series.

Part of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, the series blends salmon pink, moss green, and yellow tones to capture the essence of nature.

The creative dialogue between Fabscarte and Deepmoss is rooted in a shared vision—blending Italian craftsmanship with Chinese textile innovation. This marks Fabscarte’s first-ever collaboration with a Chinese fashion brand. Both brands draw inspiration from nature’s beauty to tell multi-sensory stories, translating visual and tactile emotions into unique wearable art.

Designer Dido Liu, based in Xiamen, creates Deepmoss collections that awaken both the softness and strength of femininity through natural synesthetic aesthetics.

Founded by Luigi Scarabelli and Emilio Brazzolotto, and supported by a team of young artisans, Fabscarte is a Milanese brand of artisanal excellence with nearly three decades of experience. Inspired by art, Fabscarte seeks to redefine the language of contemporary interior design.
