José Mourinho reveals Scott McTominay's gift

Benfica, led by José Mourinho, achieved a 2:0 victory against Napoli and our Eljif Elmas in their Champions League clash.

At the post-match press conference, Mourinho arrived with a gift. It was a gift for him, CE Report quotes MIA.

“It’s a Scott McTominay jersey. From the very beginning of his career, I pushed him forward and even benched Paul Pogba because of him. The jersey is something he could do for me. He remembered that he has a big collection of shirts, and this was his way of saying thank you. I gave him a chance, but Scott is a winner, and he proved that,” said Mourinho.

The Scottish international led Napoli to the Serie A title last season.

Mourinho and McTominay worked together at Old Trafford nine years ago.
