Clean and Green: Moldovan Government Launches Waste Infrastructure Project with European Bank Support

A waste transfer station will be built in Taraclia, populated predominantly by Bulgarian population. A sorting and composting station will be built in the city of Cahul (about 49 km from Taraclia). The existing landfill in Cahul will be closed, and a new landfill will be built in its place. In addition to Taraclia, transfer stations will also be built in Comrat and one other city in the south of Moldova, CE Report quotes BTA.
