Storms damage 10,000 hectares of farmland in two weeks

Ljubljana, 26 July - Storms bringing hail, strong winds and heavy rainfall raging across Slovenia for the past two weeks have damaged crops, orchards and vineyards in an area of 10,000 hectares, according to first estimates by the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (KGZS) on Wednesday. The chamber urges adoption of an emergency bill to help farmers. CE Report quoting STA Agency
