Skopje airport faces delays amid strong winds
The Protection and Rescue Directorate (PRD) said Monday evening two flights have been diverted to land at the Pristina airport after strong south winds hit the Skopje region.
The PRD added that two other planes bound to land at the Skopje airport are placed in a holding pattern while waiting for clearance to land or necessary diversion, CE Report quotes MIA.
Authorities are monitoring the situation and urge passengers at the airport to pay close attention to flight information and notifications from airlines.
According to TAV Macedonia's website, delays are expected on flights from Skopje to Milan Malpensa.
