ASELSAN enters Europe’s top 10 defense companies
ASELSAN, which rose last year to become the most valuable company on Borsa Istanbul with a market capitalization of 1 trillion Turkish lira, has achieved another major milestone. ASELSAN has now entered the list of Europe’s top 10 most valuable defense industry companies, marking a significant success.
ASELSAN’s achievement is driven by its strong presence in international markets and its investments in game-changing, high-technology products, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.
Making export-oriented growth one of the three core pillars of its future vision, ASELSAN has identified this area as its top priority. Most recently, the company reinforced its global standing by signing a $410 million contract with a NATO member country.
Keeping pace with the global market rally led by European and US-based technology giants, ASELSAN has become a focal point for investors thanks to its advanced technological solutions and has emerged as one of the strongest representatives of technological transformation in Türkiye.
Strong financial results from ASELSAN
ASELSAN’s growth is supported by a sustainable financial management approach.
With an expanding balance sheet and rising revenues, ASELSAN continues to deliver strong operational results. The company increases its R&D investments year by year and is reaping the rewards through new contracts signed both domestically and internationally.
Since the beginning of 2023, ASELSAN has increased its order backlog by 120% to $17.9 billion, nearly tripling the global average growth rate of 42% in this area and outperforming major global players.
As reported by CE Report, similarly, ASELSAN’s export contracts have grown significantly in recent years. In the first nine months of 2025, the company signed new export contracts worth $1.45 billion, representing a 171% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
