Richarlison set to leave Tottenham for Türkiye
Roberto De Zerbi has given the green light for Richarlison to leave Tottenham.
The Brazilian striker was not included in Tottenham’s 25-man Premier League squad and is now close to joining Trabzonspor, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The Turkish club previously offered around £20 million, but the bid was rejected. However, Trabzonspor is expected to make another attempt before the transfer window closes.
Richarlison is interested in the move and has reached a verbal agreement on personal terms, which are expected to be significantly more favorable than his salary at Tottenham.
The decision to let him leave also came after the transfer of Omar Marmoush from Manchester City, as the Brazilian was expected to see his available playing time reduced significantly.
Richarlison had previously been involved in a potential swap deal for Iliman Ndiaye, but that agreement fell through.
If Tottenham and Trabzonspor reach an agreement, the 29-year-old will leave London and continue his career in Türkiye.
