Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are reportedly set to tie the knot, with recent reports suggesting the wedding will take place in Madeira, the Portuguese island where the football legend was born.

According to several reports, Ronaldo, 41, and Georgina, 32, are expected to exchange vows at Funchal Cathedral before hosting a reception at the five-star Savoy Palace hotel. The reported wedding date is August 8, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The couple have not officially confirmed either the ceremony or the venue, but the latest reports have fueled speculation that it could become one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year, according to The Sunday Guardian.

Ronaldo and Georgina's relationship began in 2016, when they first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Georgina worked as a sales assistant. The couple have been inseparable ever since.

Their family expanded in November 2017 with the birth of their daughter, Alana Martina. Georgina also became a central figure in the lives of Ronaldo's older children—Cristiano Jr., Eva, and Mateo. In April 2022, the couple welcomed another daughter, Bella Esmeralda.

Ronaldo previously spoke about their relationship in an interview, saying:

"I will marry her because I believe the right time has come. Not only because she is the mother of my children, but because she is the person I love most in life."

Last August, Georgina confirmed their engagement by posting a photo of her engagement ring on Instagram with the caption:

"Yes, I do. In this life and in all my lives."

Since then, the couple have continued to grow their family, while speculation about their wedding has intensified. Recent reports suggest they may finally marry this year, although neither of them has officially confirmed the plans.
