Galatasaray sign Noa Lang on loan from Napoli
Galatasaray have signed winger Noa Lang on loan from Italian side Napoli until the end of the season.
In a statement released by the yellow-and-red club, Galatasaray announced:
“An agreement has been reached with professional footballer Noa Noell Lang and his club Napoli for the temporary transfer of the player for the remainder of the 2025–26 season, including a non-mandatory purchase option subject to our company’s written request. Accordingly, a net loan fee of 2 million euros will be paid to the player’s club.”
The statement also noted that the 26-year-old footballer will receive a guaranteed net salary of 1.75 million euros for the 2025–26 season, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.
Noa Lang: I will respond to Galatasaray fans’ interest with my performance
Galatasaray’s new signing Noa Lang thanked the club’s supporters for the trust they have shown in him, saying he wants to repay that faith with his performances on the pitch.
Club president Dursun Özbek and the Dutch footballer spoke to Galatasaray’s official social media accounts following the signing ceremony.
Özbek stated that Lang is a player the club has been monitoring for some time:
“I believe he will bring great value to Galatasaray. He also has a past in Istanbul, as he mentioned himself. Therefore, I think he will contribute greatly to both Istanbul and Galatasaray. I wish him success at Galatasaray. I’m sure our fans will love him. I hope he has a bright future here.”
Emphasizing that transfer efforts are ongoing, Özbek added:
“There is still plenty of time before the transfer window closes. We are working very hard. God willing, our efforts will continue to make both our fans and the Galatasaray community happy with new signings.”
Noa Lang: “I’m really looking forward to this challenge”
Expressing his happiness at joining the club, the 26-year-old winger said:
“I’m proud. I’m really looking forward to this challenge. A new chapter is opening for me. I would especially like to thank our president, and also Abdullah Bey for bringing me here.”
Lang continued:
“The training facilities are truly elite level. I’m sure we’ll have very high-quality training sessions here. My teammates welcomed me warmly, and I’m confident we’ll enjoy our time together and achieve success. I’m very happy to be part of this family. Our fans have sent me so many messages. I want to thank them for their trust. I hope I can give the necessary response on the pitch.”
Highlighting his connection to the city, Lang concluded:
“Istanbul is a very special place. When I looked out of the hotel window, I saw my old school. It has a truly special meaning, and I’m very happy to be back home.”
