In the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Houston Rockets 111–91 on the road.

In the game played at the Toyota Center, the Thunder earned their fifth consecutive victory as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 20 points, Chet Holmgren added 18, and Ajay Mitchell came off the bench with 17 points, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.

For the Rockets, Kevin Durant led the team with 19 points, while Jabari Smith Jr. recorded 17 points and 10 rebounds. Turkish national team player Alperen Şengün finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and one block. Durant missed all five of his three-point attempts.

Hornets rout Lakers on the road

Matching his career record with nine three-pointers, LaMelo Ball led the Charlotte Hornets to a 135–117 road win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ball finished as the top scorer with 30 points, along with 11 assists and six rebounds. Brandon Miller contributed 26 points, Miles Bridges added 25, and rookie Kon Knueppel scored 19 for the Hornets.

As reported by CE Report, for the Lakers, Luka Dončić recorded 39 points, four assists and three rebounds, while LeBron James added 29 points and nine rebounds. Jake LaRavia finished with 18 points.
