World Cup draw: Albania’s pot confirmed
FIFA has finalized the procedures for the World Cup draw, which will take place on December 5.
If it qualifies, Albania will be placed in the fourth pot, as all teams coming from the Play-Off stage are ranked in this pot, CE Report quotes ATA.
Italy, which is aiming to reach the World Cup through the Play-Offs, will also be in the same pot.
Meanwhile, the host countries Canada, Mexico, and the United States are placed in the first pot.
Albania must defeat Poland in the Play-Off semi-final and then the winner of the Sweden–Ukraine match to secure a spot in the World Cup.
