MVP A’ja Wilson scored 31 points and grabbed nine rebounds, leading the Las Vegas Aces to a 97-86 victory over the Phoenix Mercury and securing their third title in four seasons in the WNBA.

The champions claimed the title in impressive fashion, winning all four games of the Finals series, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

Jackie Young contributed 18 points and eight assists, Chelsea Gray also scored 18 points, Jewell Loyd added 12 points, and Dana Evans contributed another 10 for the champions, who made 12 three-pointers and committed only seven turnovers. Notably, Gray and Loyd each made four three-pointers.

Four-time league MVP Wilson made 17 of 19 free throws, also earning the Finals MVP title, while the Aces recorded their 25th win in the last 28 games after losing 111-58 to the Minnesota Lynx on August 2.

Mercury guard Kali Cooper scored 30 points (a career playoff high) before being ejected in the final minutes, while Alysha Thomas recorded her 10th triple-double of the season—and second in the playoffs—but the team could not overcome the absence of top scorer Satou Sabally, who suffered a concussion after colliding with an opponent in the 90-88 loss in Game 3 on Wednesday.
