Ademola Lookman remains at the center of the summer transfer market. According to “The Sun,” Arsenal has revived interest in the Atalanta forward, entering a race with Inter, with whom negotiations have stalled, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The “Gunners” are looking for attacking reinforcements with different characteristics than Viktor Gyökeres, Arteta’s main target for the center-forward role.

Besides Lookman, the Londoners are also pursuing Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace and Rodrygo from Real Madrid, although signing the Brazilian is seen as complicated due to financial reasons.

Lookman impressed last season with 20 goals, increasing his market value.

In Bergamo, Atalanta’s management is considering disciplinary measures against the player, while CEO Luca Percassi is in London on business matters, including the search for a replacement for Retegui.

Inter still hopes to secure the Nigerian player’s services, whom they see as the only reinforcement that can make an immediate difference.
