Bojan Krkic returns to Barcelona

Sports

Former Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic has returned to the club that shaped him and catapulted him onto the European football scene, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

After a prolific career in some of the continent's top leagues, including a brief spell at AC Milan, Bojan rejoins the Blaugrana - this time in a managerial role.

Krkic will work closely with the club's sporting director, Deco, and will hold a key role as a liaison between the La Masia youth academy and the first team.

His objective will be to facilitate the transition of young talent to the first team, ensuring the most natural and successful transition for young players.

With his experience as a former footballer who has gone through this very path – from the academy to the first team and then to the international arena – Bojan is expected to bring a more sensitive and effective approach to the development of young talent, while also serving as an inspiring role model for the next generation of Barcelona footballers.

This is another step by the Catalan club to strengthen the link between its historical heritage and the bright future it aims to build on the foundations of the legendary academy.
