Burgas to Host 2025 World Kudo Cup

The 2025 World Kudo Cup will be held on July 5–6 at Arena Burgas, bringing together 300 fighters from 25 countries across five continents, organizers announced Thursday, CE Report quotes BTA

At the press conference were World Kudo Federation President Hideki Takahashi, Vice President Kenichi Osada, Bulgarian Kudo Federation Chair Gospodin Babanov, and Burgas Deputy Mayor Manol Todorov. They noted this is the first time Bulgaria is hosting a kudo event of this scale, with Burgas chosen for its excellent conditions.

The official opening is set for Saturday, July 5, at 10:30 a.m. Semifinals and finals in all categories will take place Sunday, with the award ceremony at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Organizers also announced that Burgas will host the 2025 European Kudo Championship in October.
