Bulgaria Sends 11 to European Fencing Championships

Eleven Bulgarian fencers are set to compete at the 2025 European Fencing Championships, which begin on June 14 in Genoa, Italy, the Bulgarian Fencing Federation announced, CE Report quotes BTA

Representing Bulgaria will be Deyan Dobrev, Svetlozar Iskrov, and Rahim Rashaida in men’s epee; Yoana Ilieva, Olga Hramova, Beloslava Ivanova, and Emma Neikova in women’s sabre; and Simeon Dalekov, Viktor Filev, Kaloyan Peshev, and Todor Stoychev in men’s sabre.

The event, running from June 14 to 19, will host 477 athletes from 42 countries. It opens with preliminary rounds in women’s foil and men’s sabre, followed by finals each day across individual and team events.
