Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk has signed a contract extension with Liverpool, keeping him at the club until 2027, the Premier League side confirmed, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Van Dijk, 33, expressed his joy: “I’m very happy, very proud... To be able to extend it with another two years at this club is amazing.”

Since joining Liverpool, Van Dijk has played a key role in the team’s success, helping them secure major trophies including the 2019 Champions League, 2020 Premier League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and FA Cup.
