Foreign ministry spokesperson Paweł Wroński advised Polish citizens to avoid travel to the region, noting that embassies in Tehran and Tel Aviv are closely monitoring the situation. There are currently no plans for evacuation.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk later stated there was no immediate threat to Polish diplomats in Tehran but stressed the government is "prepared for any eventuality."
The statements come as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of advancing its nuclear weapons program, claiming the country now has enough enriched uranium to build nine bombs. Netanyahu warned the operation to counter this threat could last "many days."
