The Kremlin considers a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump "necessary," but states that currently "there is nothing concrete" and that any potential summit "must be properly prepared."

This was stated by spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, who also clarified that the meeting is not planned to take place in Saudi Arabia, as previously speculated by some media outlets, because Putin is not expected to travel to Riyadh during the days Trump will be there, in mid-May, CE Report quotes ANSA.
