Gov.gr Celebrates Milestone Achievements as It Enters Its Fifth Year

The Single Digital Portal of Public Administration, gov.gr, marks its fifth year of operation with remarkable progress in digitizing state services, announced Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

"Welcoming 2025, gov.gr offers 2,025 digital services, symbolizing a commitment to innovation and reform," Papastergiou stated. Highlighting the platform's impact, he emphasized its role in fostering trust between citizens and the state by improving everyday life through steady reforms.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the government aims to fully digitize all state services by the end of his second term. Papastergiou noted the impressive pace, with 1–1.5 services being digitized daily, and shared pride in a recent survey where gov.gr ranked second overall in Greece and first among state services for citizen satisfaction.

Since its inception, gov.gr has been used by over 8.5 million citizens, who have issued or submitted more than 321 million documents and declarations electronically. This achievement underscores the platform’s transformative impact on the lives of Greek citizens.
