MPs will make their eight attempt to elect a chairperson of the 51st National Assembly on Friday. The resumption of Parliament's first session is scheduled for 11 am, CE Report quotes BTA

At the previous attempt on Thursday, four candidates were in the running: Raya Nazaryan from GERB-UDF, Silvi Kirilov from There Is Such a People (TISP), Natalia Kiselova from BSP-United Left, and Petar Petrov from Vazrazhdane. Nazaryan and Kirilov advanced to a run-off, but neither secured the necessary votes to be elected.
