EU Takes Hungary to Court Over Ban on LGBTQ+ Content for Kids

The Hungarian law on child protection, which prohibits showing children any content in the media and schools that depicts or promotes homosexuality or gender change, violates European Union law, CE Report quotes ANSA.

This was stated by Advocate General Tamara Ćapeta of the Court of Justice of the EU in an opinion released in the case brought by the European Commission—joined by 15 EU member states—in what is the largest human rights violation procedure ever brought before the European Judge.
