Iohannis: We are near the front, there is not point in giving data to those aggressing Ukraine

European Union

Romania will not communicate exactly the direct military support it gives to Ukraine, because our country is "near the front," President Klaus Iohannis said on Thursday, before participating in the European Council meeting, CE Report quotes Agerpres

"Romania will not be more transparent. (...) It simply does not seem useful to me to make public details about the military aid or about where we train Ukrainian military. We are near the front. There is no point in giving data through the media to those who are aggressing Ukraine," said the head of state.
