A few days before the collection of 16 masterpieces owned by the late media mogul S.I. Newhouse is auctioned by Christie’s in New York, a two-minute promotional video for a major sculpture has been released.

The “short film,” as described by the renowned auction house, was shot in early May and features Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman alongside the iconic sculpture “Danaïde” by Constantin Brancusi (1913).

The work is expected to become one of the highlights of this year’s season, with an initial estimate reaching 100 million dollars, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

According to a spokesperson for the auction house, the idea for the video was inspired by a Man Ray film in which photographer Lee Miller unveils another work by the artist.
