Demi Moore encourages Hollywood to embrace AI
Demi Moore urged the film industry to find ways to work with artificial intelligence while also protecting itself from it.
She said it should do so rather than fighting a losing battle against it, ahead of the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
“Artificial intelligence is here. Therefore, fighting against it is, in a sense, like fighting something that is a lost cause. Finding ways in which we can work with AI is a more valuable path to follow,” Moore said.
The American actress received her first Oscar nomination for the film The Substance: The Elixir of Youth after its premiere at Cannes in 2024.
She returns to the festival this year as one of nine members of the jury that will award the top prize, the Palme d’Or, on May 23.
