Slovenia welcomes record visitors in August
Slovenia welcomed over 1.2 million tourists at the peak of the season in August this year, a 2.5% increase compared to August 2024.
These visitors generated 3.3 million overnight stays, up 2.4% from the previous year, CE Report quotes STA.
The Statistics Office noted that August was a record-breaking month for tourism.
While the number of foreign tourists increased, there were fewer Slovenian visitors.
