Cristiano Ronaldo continues to rewrite football history books
Cristiano Ronaldo continues to rewrite football history books.
He reached the milestone of 100 goals in the Saudi top league during Al Nassr’s 4–2 victory over Al Shabab, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
At 41 years old, the Portuguese star became the first and only player in history to score more than 100 goals in three different leagues (the Premier League, La Liga, and the Saudi Pro League), bringing his overall career tally to 971 goals.
This achievement comes at a crucial moment in the title race, where Al Nassr is competing closely with Al-Hilal.
The mythical barrier of 1,000 career goals now appears more achievable than ever for the Portuguese superstar.
