The Golden State Warriors defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 111–85 in a “somber atmosphere” following the fatal shooting of protester Alex Pretti by ICE agents in Minneapolis. Minnesota sports teams, including the Timberwolves and the NFL’s Vikings, issued an open letter calling for peace and “real solutions.”

In a postgame interview, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said his team won a “strange and sad” game against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a “dark and heavy atmosphere,” CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Warriors coach Kerr said: “It was one of the strangest and saddest games I’ve ever been part of. You could feel the somber atmosphere.”

Stephen Curry led the Warriors in scoring with 26 points, tying Paul Pierce for 19th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with a total of 26,397 points.
