Manchester United climbed to sixth place in the Premier League standings after winning 4–1 against Wolverhampton in a match from the 15th round.

The “Red Devils” now have 25 points, the same as fifth-placed Chelsea after their 0–0 draw with Bournemouth, CE Report quotes BTA.

United took the lead in the 25th minute through Bruno Fernandes, which intensified Wolves fans’ protests against the club’s owners. Haiti international Jean-Ricner Bellegarde equalised in added time, but the second half was entirely controlled by the “Red Devils.”

Bryan Mbeumo put United ahead in the 52nd minute, and Mason Mount scored for 3–1 shortly after the hour mark, while Fernandes sealed the final score eight minutes before the end with a penalty. After the 90 minutes had passed, the referees added nine minutes of stoppage time, but were booed by the few fans left in the stands, who chanted “blow the whistle.”

Wolves are last in the Premier League standings with only two points from 15 matches.
